Mini house swap 2008

I was in a pardner swap for miniature houses. The house is made of 100% Premo. I had fun making this house it is sitting on a felt base so that it won't scratch the table top it is sitting on. I see that I got a couple of things crooked but it is my first miniature house this is what lead me to the log cabin which is smaller then this one.

N-Scale polymer log cabin

My Husband are working on a N-Scale train layout. Well I had been wanting to make a cabin for the mountain part. So I was in a mini house swap so got my N-Scale ruler and made a second one for the lay out. Love the chimney on the log cabin. It is 100% polymer clay.







This is the house in the train layout. Still needs some work on the landscape. It will be a on going job. Hope to be able to make some more stuff for it as time goes by.

been working with my clay

I have been working in clay did some eggs for a egg swap it was fun. I had some clay left over from a cane I was trying to do stain glass. I used the makins clay twist extruder to make the rope in my eggs had to do each one different. I used a wood egg as the base that i painted black so that I missed a spot and I then made the multi colored rope from another project I was doing.
